A plethora of randomness this mom of twins + baby never thought I'd hear...or say.

Safe or Out? OUT
CJ has been playing baseball since he was a baby. Even when he was in utero, I would sing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" to him and his twin. His room is baseball, his bedding is baseball, we are all about baseball!
So why did he not play baseball this year? Because we took our first family trip to the snow...
Sledding was fun...
Until the twins hit these trees
and CJ ended up at Mammoth Ski Patrol
CJ ended up breaking his fibia and tibia almost completely through
CJ ended up with 3 casts over a total of 3 months
There is always next year!
My Monkey
My oldest started tumbling a few weeks ago. She wanted to take Hip Hop, but due to no dance teacher, ended up in tumbling. I knew she would love it because she is always climbing and tumbling at home. She went grumpy the first time, not knowing what it was. Her face lit up when she saw the room and her BFF there.
Needless to say, she loves it! She climbs up the pole to the 8' bar and plays around before dropping and freaking out her teacher and myself.
After a couple sessions she is doing flips and almost has down her front handspring.
While it is unnerving watching her run full force and fling her body into whichever way it ends up, I am glad my little monkey has found a way to expend her energy.

Caleb's Favorite Color
My little man sure knows how to melt my heart. Today he comes up to me and says, "Mom, do you know what my favorite color is? It is you." I asked him what he meant and he said "It is the color of your skin, because it is what I saw when I was a baby and I cuddled you and I still like to cuddle you."
(he may be older, but he still has the baby blues)

License for Fun
One of our favorite places to visit is Kramer Junction (aka Four Corners aka where US Route 395 and State Route 58 meet). Our friend owns a lot of property out there and plenty of "toys" to keep us busy.
I've been taking the Trio out there since the twins were little and they are happy to be old enough now to "drive" some of the vehicles.
The other day K was out with RJ on a daddy daughter date and in all seriousness, she looked at him and asked "Am I going to jail for driving a tank without a license?"
Now J loves Chuck E Cheese (what kid doesn't?) and she has recently learned that if you put a coin in the rides, then they actually do more than just sit there and look pretty (yes, I tried to hide this as long as possible). While sitting in one of the Cessna's, J turns, puts out her hand, and sweetly asks "Coin?"
We love being able to play out there and the Trio looks forward to when they are tall enough to drive the other military vehicles, classic cars, forklifts, and the list goes on and on...

Baby Angel Face
When the twins were 2, I don't remember much, other than trying to survive each day. I know I enjoyed them and watching them together has always been hilarious, but I won't lie, it was hard. Now having a 2 year old singleton, I am honestly enjoying and loving this stage of life to the max. Yes, there are dishes in the sink, laundry is piling up, toys are everywhere, and the whole house could use a good cleaning, but there is something more important- there is a 2 year old who wants me to help her feed her "babies", then burp them, change them, put them to bed, then do it all over again...ten times. Now that the twins are almost 6, I understand that time goes by FAST and these few years before they start school are so precious. Yes, I am slightly embarrassed when people stop by and see my wreck which I call "home" but how do I say "no" when a blonde beauty is looking me in the eyes with her arms out asking me to "lay down" so she can put her arms around me, "tuck" me in, give me kisses, and pretend snore?
"Cleaning and scrubbing can wait til tomorrow, children grow up as I've learned to my sorrow. So calm down spider webs and dust go to sleep, cause I'm rocking my babies and babies don't keep."
Today while J and I were "pretend sleeping," she also had her baby Cinderella doll with her. She told me "my baby Cinderella." Being a beautiful little tow-head, I told her she was my "baby Cinderella." She looked at me and said, "No momma, I'm Baby Angel Face." I have called her Angel Face before (her middle name is Grace so it rhymes) and apparently she remembers. Can I just bottle up these moments and keep them forever??
"Cleaning house when kids are little is like brushing your teeth while eating oreos."
Time goes by too fast. Let's enjoy each moment my friends!

Hot Sauce Baby
When my twins went through a "biting eachother" stage, it was recommended that I put hot sauce on their tongues when they bite. The purpose is they are suppose to not like hot sauce and therefore won't bite. Apparently JG never got this memo. This 2 year old is absolutely obsessed with "chua" (cholula). Just like her daddy, she will not eat egg dishes or Mexican food without it being doused in Cholula.
JG also has a love from her mom- "peta butter" (peanut butter). Just like me, she can sit down with a jar of peanut butter and a spoon (or in this case, a butter knife).
Besides food, JG has a love of many other things. She loves to "wiggle" (dance), loves Mickey Mouse (she will throw the remote at you and demand Mickey Mouse if the tv is on a different channel), shoes (if your shoes go missing while you are at our house, check her hiding spots), babies (we spend many hours changing, feeding, putting the babies to bed and doing it all over again), and jewelry and makeup (where the heck did she get this from??).
Yesterday JG was being her usually silly self and I told her she was goofy. She replied "I Goofy. Sista Minnie, Brutter Mickey."
She is a true joy and keeps us laughing.
